| PIGMENTATION |
| Our faces, arms, hands, shoulders and chest are most commonly exposed to and damaged by the sun. Dense areas of freckles, sun and age spots, ruddy and reddened complexions respond well to IPL treatment. Almost any part of your body can be safely treated to create an even skin tone and colour which will rejuvenate your overall appearance. |

| What happens after the treatment? |
|
| The pigmented areas darken almost immediately after treatment but subside within a few hours. Within the next few days to weeks the skin may become crusty and darkened areas will fade and flake off. |

| Will I see results after one treatment? |
| You may see a visible reduction in the appearance of pigment within a few weeks, your skin will feel younger, softer and smoother. It may take 2-3 treatments for pigment to vanish or fade to insignificance! |

| Hair removal |
| IPL is the fastest and most effective way of treating both large and small areas of hair. |
|
|
| How many treatments will I need? |
| Those of you wishing to reduce/remove darker more dense problem areas of hair (ie back, bikini line) may require fewer treatments than those lighter less dense areas. The number of treatments ranges between 4-8 on average and is dependent on hair thickness and colour and growth cycle. You will need to come in for your treatment evey 4-6 weeks but should see dramatic reduction in the amount of hair within 3 treatments. |

| What will happen after a treatment? |
|
The treated area may feel mildly sunburnt and appear a bit red, this will usually subside within 24 hours. In very rare instances blistering may occur.
The hair will appear to regrow within the next 1-2 weeks and then will fall out. You may notice that hair grows more slowly as you progress through your treatments and regrowth can be patchy. |

| How long does a treatment take? |
Treatment times will vary depending on how much hair you want to remove but on average:
